T-Mobile customers can’t access new giveaway app after ‘high demand’ causes server slowdown

Many T-Mobile customers expecting their first freebies as part of the company’s new giveaway app were left disappointed Tuesday morning.

T-Mobile Tuesday, the wireless carrier’s new app revealed on Monday that offers weekly giveaways for food, movie tickets, game gear and other items, ran into what appeared to be server issues on Tuesday morning as customers tried accessing the app.

Frontier: Fewer than 30,000 customers lost service in Verizon transition

"Less than one percent" of Verizon customers who were switched over to Frontier Communications suffered service outages after the transition, according to Frontier.

But with more than 3 million customers being forced to switch providers, that could put the total number of customers who suffered outages at nearly 30,000. What isn't clear is how many people still lack service.
