Patent diary #125: On useful inventions

Once upon a time there was a monk in France, but the Second World War came, and he realized that one should not be on the sidelines and went into French resistance, where he fought against the Germans, derailed trains, etc. After the war ended, he realized that he was already did not want to return to monkshood. For numerous services in the military field, the residents of Dijon chose him as their mayor. Grape growers and other villagers turned to the mayor with a request to somehow facilitate the sale of their wines, jams and syrups. The mayor poured a wonderful local blackcurrant syrup into white wine – and so was born the famous Cyrus cocktail, now known throughout the world. In the photo – on the right. The monk, and then the mayor was called Cyrus. And in the center – its modification – Kir Royal (in a royal sense, and not in a sense with Royal alcohol, who still remembers), which is blackcurrant syrup and champagne. Then, this province began to flourish, and the mayor of Cyrus ruled for another 30 years, and did many glorious deeds. Do you know how old he was when he left for partisans? 62 years old. That is, it’s never too late to change your life .. …. In general, I’m here for work, here.
