Intellectual Ventures spinoff Sublime Technologies raises cash for new consumer products venture
Sublime Technologies is the latest spinoff to come out of the Invention Development Fund (IDF) at Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures (IV), the patent holding firm and technology company run by former Microsoft technology chief Nathan Myhrvold. A spokesperson at IV confirmed that Sublime Technologies is a “new consumer products related start-up that our Invention Development Fund is putting together based on some inventions that came out of the group,” but wouldn’t provide further comment.
