The Pacific Science Center is bringing its geeky New Year’s Eve party back for the third year running. SPECTRA 2016: New Year’s Eve Under the Arches boasts “the best, unobstructed view of the annual fireworks show,” along with music from KEXP DJs and live combustion science demonstrations. The Science Center is opening up all of its exhibits, the planetarium, and the Laser Dome for the event, which kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 31. Tickets to SPECTRA 2016 are on sale for $ 80 here.
