Computer science education week, an annual program designed to inspire kids to code, kicks off globally Dec. 7. As part of this initiative Seattle’s CoderDojo is hosting an Hour of Code event at Amazon’s South Lake Union headquarters on Dec. 12. Kids eight and up are encouraged to attend. No experience is necessary, as CodingDojo offers a variety of tutorials and lessons. Parents can register their children for free here.
