Though the value of his personal fortune fell by $ 4 billion during the past year, Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates remains the richest human on the planet, according to Forbes magazine.

For the 2016 rankings, Forbes estimated Gates to be worth $ 75 billion, down from the previous year’s $ 79.2 billion. This is the 17th time the 60-year-old Gates has made the list out of the past 22 years.

Seattle tech tycoons fared well on Forbes’ list. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos jumped 10 positions in the rankings from No. 15 last year to No. 5. Forbes valued Bezos’ fortune at $ 45.2 billion, an increase from last year’s estimate of $ 34.8 billion.

Microsoft former CEO Steve Balmer ($ 23.5 billion) was No. 26 on the list and Gates’ Microsoft partner, Paul Allen ($ 17.5 billion), came in at No. 40.

Some of the others from the tech notables included No. 6 Mark Zuckerberg ($ 44.6 billion), No. 7 Larry Ellison ($ 43.6 billion) and No. 12 Larry Page ($ 34.2 billion).

Last month Oxfam, the group trying to end poverty, reported that the 62 richest people on the planet have as much wealth as the poorest half of the world’s population. The report underscores the problem with income inequality, Oxfam said.
