All or Nothing, a new show about the behind-the-scenes life of an NFL team, will debut on Amazon Video next month.

The show, which includes eight one-hour long episodes, will follow the Arizona Cardinals during its run to the NFC Championship game last season. Produced by NFL Films, All or Nothing — an “Amazon Original Series” — will debut July 1 exclusively on Prime Video and is available until August 31 for any customer; Amazon Prime members, who pay $ 99 per year for benefits like streaming video and free 2-day shipping, will be able to watch the show at any time after July 1.

amazonvideo11Or, if you don’t want to pay the full $ 99, Amazon in April began offering monthly Prime memberships for its video streaming service at $ 8.99 per month — one dollar less than Netflix’s standard offering — along with a $ 10.99 per month option that includes other benefits of Prime like free 2-day shipping, music streaming, cloud storage, same-day/2-hour delivery in some cities, and more.

All or Nothing will be narrated by Mad Men’s Jon Hamm. The show is part of a new “Amazon Unscripted Series.” A job search for “Unscripted” shows about eight open positions for a new arm of Amazon Video, which continues to add new content on a regular basis.

All or Nothing delivers exciting on-the-field NFL action paired with an intimate look inside the lives of players and coaches over the course of an entire season, which is something NFL fans have been clamoring for,” Conrad Riggs, Head of Unscripted, Amazon Studios, said in a statement. “With our Amazon Original Series, we are excited to bring Prime members shows that highlight interesting personalities and their true life stories.”

This partnership is rather unique for Amazon in terms of the sports-related programming. Amazon was among a handful of technology giants looking to acquire exclusive rights to stream Thursday Night Football games next season — Twitter ultimately won the bid. Last month, Amazon hired digital media veteran James DeLorenzo as its new head of sports for “Amazon Video Channels.”

NFL Films, meanwhile, is the part of NFL Media and has racked up 121 Sports Emmy Awards over the years. It produces similar shows like A Football Life and The Timeline.

Amazon’s press release today noted Phil Mickelson as a producer for the All or Nothing series. We’ve followed up with Amazon to confirm that this is Phil Mickelson the professional golfer, who has some experience in media production.
